Terra Map is one of GEC srl's GPS navigation products, along with Aqua Map. It is the perfect app for any outdoor activity, compatible with smartphones and tablets. It allows you to download the best topographic maps, access crucial map information, record your routes, and much more.

Who We Are

GEC was founded in June 2013. After several years working for Magneti Marelli, Delta Informatica and Navionics Spa as R&D managers we decided to start our own business, having together more than 65 years knowledge in the GPS Marine Navigation and Cartography field.

How It Started

Aqua Map is the first product that GEC put on the iTunes market in September 2013. We started with a simple chart viewer and today we have a complete mobile GPS navigator with all the common and advanced functions available on any chart plotter.

"Incredibly clear" - that was the first reaction in the marketplace. Our map is really clear, readable and intuitive!

After Aqua Map, we naturally evolved our product to include terrestrial data as well, especially geared toward hiking and biking activities. Thus, we released our second product, Terra Map.

Where We Are

Viareggio

GEC is located in the heart of Tuscany, in Viareggio, a gem on the Tyrrhenian Sea, renowned for being the home of the nautical industry. However, Viareggio and the whole Versilia area are not only famous for the sea and nightlife but also for its nature, it holds authentic wonders and breathtaking landscapes between the gentle hills and the majestic Apuan Alps.
